Content:

Resilience, carrying capacity and burden of the caregiver

Part 1: Recognizing Helper Syndromes: Burnout, Burn-in, Secondary Trauma, Compassion fatigue, Helper syndrome and Bambi syndrome. Protective and risk factors. Mandate and working relationship. Projections, resistance and transference : possible interventions.

Part 2: The Mountain of Trauma - intervision schedule in poorly run counseling sessions. Growing in pain: self-knowledge and self-care. Case discussions using The Mountain of Trauma, Q&A.

In this training you will encounter yourself and the influence of, for example, your own trauma on your work as a social worker. You will be given tools and exercises to grow from this.

All social workers who work with trauma and want to take care of themselves and each other.
