Complementing and following the Trauma and Birth training, guest lecturer Kaatje Keppens, parent-baby coach at ONADA and professor of midwifery at Thomas More, is teaching a very valuable Extra Value Class on babies with birth stress.

Content  

In this training you will learn how to support babies with birth stress so that their birth experience is integrated. You will learn to create a safe space in which to work with the baby. You will be taught basic principles that allow babies to calm down and coregulate and unfold.

Furthermore, you also learn how to be quality present and touch babies in a focused way that allows them to release birth stress and feel carried and secure. By touching babies you also learn what they want to communicate.
