Content:

Resilience, carrying capacity and burden

Part 1: Recognizing Helper Syndromes. Burnout, Burn-in, Secondary Trauma, Compassion fatigue, Helper syndrome and Bambi syndrome. Protective and risk factors. Mandate and working relationship. Projections, resistance and transference : possible interventions.

Part 2: The Mountain of Trauma - intervision schedule in poorly run counseling sessions. Growing in pain: self-knowledge and self-care. Case discussions using The Mountain of Trauma, Q&A.

In this training you will encounter yourself and the influence of, for example, your own trauma on your work as a social worker. You will be given tools and exercises to grow from this.

All social workers who work with trauma and want to take care of themselves and each other.

No prerequisites for participation.
