Part 2: Accommodating victims from day 1 to 4 weeks after the event. Interventions PTS: WoT regulation, nightmares, the 'OOF' moment, OXO, The Fist, The Puzzle, Suffering-to-suffering, Watchful Waiting. And how to hold yourself in the storm,
In this course you will learn to cope with trauma victims - for those who deal with trauma at a later stage, this course helps to recognize suffering-on-suffering.
For
All social workers who care for victims during or shortly after a traumatic experience: medical and paramedical personnel, crisis counselors, psychologists, therapists, counselors, social workers, prevention counselors and HR managers, coaches.
Prerequisite for participation: having completed basic Trauma-Informed practice training, or equivalent training or experience
