Part 1: Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder: where to begin? Anamnesis and mandate. Risk factors in the client: Nobody home and Alive and Kicking. Risk factors in self: self-overestimation and avoidance. Preverbal trauma, early childhood traumatization. developmental trauma, personality disorders and DIS. Three-stage model: pros and cons. Chronic forms of the F's. Again: community, Sense of Self, WOT and the working relationship! Again and again from overwhelm and avoidance to voluntary confrontation. Traumalisting!

Apply and practice interventions:

Part 2: Psychoeducation and self-observation as the main intervention: how am I not who I am? A different frame of reference. Exercises to increase the Sense of Self. 5′ in your body. A life without T.

Part 3: Inner child work as a starting point and milestone: can I reinvent myself? Confrontation with the inner child and transformative exercises. Inner conference. The inner child in our bodies.

Part 4: The Ideal Self as an Engine of Posttraumatic Growth: Internal Family Systems, principles and work plan. Traumalisting finishing with techniques from Somatic experiencing, Inner child work, IFS, Progressive Counting and EMDR 2.0.

In this training you will learn best-practice treatment techniques for C-PTSD.

Prerequisite for participation: having completed basic Trauma-Informed Practice training, or equivalent education or experience and Skill Training 2 PTSD.
